Together We Can Feed was founded by 15-year-old Skye Ese Oduaran and her family after witnessing and experiencing food insecurity firsthand within her own community. Seeing families struggle to access consistent, nutritious meals made it clear that hunger is not just a global issue - it is happening in our neighborhoods every day. In the United States alone, 1 in 5 children go hungry. This reality affects students’ health, education, and ability to thrive in their everyday lives.
What began as a response to a local need grew into a youth-led initiative dedicated to fighting hunger and supporting those most affected. Together We Can Feed works to provide food assistance, raise awareness, and inspire collective action, proving that when communities come together, together we can feed.
Our work aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 2: Zero Hunger, which focuses on ending hunger and improving access to nutritious food for all. By addressing food insecurity at the local level, Together We Can Feed contributes to the global effort to create a future where no one is left behind.
